The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, jointly with the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, offers Dispenser Course approved by the Punjab Medical Faculty, Health Department, Government of the Punjab.

DISPENSER PROGRAM

The Dispenser is a one year program. The eligibility criterion for admission is the same as for all other courses of Paramedics (approved by Punjab Medical Faculty.)

The program consists of didactic training, lectures, laboratory work, and tutorials in addition to the mandatory hospital training.  The Institute has an extensive network of affiliate hospitals, medical centers, clinical laboratories, pharmacies and affiliate institutions where students are rotated as part of their training. 

Students are given a well-rounded experience during their training program in all aspects thus preparing them to undertake professional careers in the field.

Upon graduation, the students have the opportunity to register with the Punjab Medical Faculty for their certification examination.

ADMISSIONS

1. Candidate must have passed Matric with at least overall 50% marks, and obtained also 50% marks in science subjects i.e., physics, chemistry and biology. F.Sc. students are welcome.
2. Candidate should be between the ages of 17 to 23 years. The competent authority relaxing the age up to 28 years may grant a waiver of 5 years. However a Government servant may be granted age waiver up to 33 years.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION

Applicants must attach with application form attested photocopies of the following:

1. Matric Certificate
2. Any other certificate(s)
3. National Identity Card
4. Domicile Certificate
5. Eight passport size recent colored photographs

(It is absolutely essential to present the original papers for Punjab Medical Faculty Registration).
